There are certain things in the world that have no definite answers or explanations. These are often the kinds of things that either happen for the first time, or happen too fast, or were made or occurred before our time. These are the kinds of things that our scholars have tried to study and explain for years and decades. This is the case with our subjects of focus for this paper; The great pyramid of Giza and Stonehenge. Both of these structures have piqued the imagination and curiosity of scientists, scholars and people alike with their mysterious features and of course the lack of modern explanation or documentation for their purpose. Many people have tried to study them and have attempted to explain what they were made for, or how they were made, or who they were made by. Some have provided excellent explanations and rationalizations about their use or origin and have used multiple researches and sources but to this day, some of these bits of information are still being debated. How the structures are believed to have been made The book ââ¬Å"Stonehengeâ⬠by Rosemary Hill takes quite a unique approach to the structure, its history and origin. It considers Stonehenge to be a work of art and science. It describes lots of studies one on Stonehenge and what their take on the structure was. According to Wikipedia, the structure its self is made from large stone. It states ââ¬Å"composed of a circular setting of large standing stones surrounded by earthworks. â⬠And also describes that it is surrounded by several burial mounds. Since the culture that built Stone henge did not leave any written records, there is no direct information on how it was constructed, but over the years, speculation of its construction ranged from supernatural or unearthly methods were put in motion to build Stonehenge. Keep in mind that the reason for this is because the stones that were used to build Stonehenge are nearly impossible to move, specially at that time where lack of modern technology made the construction even m ore difficult.
